Wilson Elected to Van Wezel Foundation Board

Williams Parker attorney Michael J. Wilson was recently elected to Van Wezel Foundation Board of Directors. The mission of the Van Wezel Foundation is to enrich the lives of members of the Gulf Coast community, with an emphasis on children, through the performing arts while supporting the needs of the Van Wezel – the region’s premier performing arts hall.

Mr. Wilson practices primarily in the areas of federal and state and local taxation. He has experience handling a wide-range of tax planning matters, with particular focus on corporate, partnership, and real estate tax matters. He has represented clients during the tax audit process; before the Internal Revenue Service Appeals Office; before the Internal Revenue Service National Office in connection with requests for rulings and technical advice; and before the Florida Department of Revenue with respect to a variety of state tax matters.
