Williams Parker Healthcare Attorneys Present to The Group in D.C.

John L. Moore and Steven D. Brownlee, healthcare attorneys with Williams Parker, recently presented to The Group, an affiliate of the Small Business Council of America, at a conference in Washington D.C. The Group is composed of health law attorneys from across the United States. Mr. Moore discussed 340B drug programs, issues to look for in electronic medical records agreements, and financing Medicare receivables. Dr. Brownlee discussed states’ impaired practitioner law and related rules for nurses and physicians as well as adding physical therapy as part of a physician’s practice.

Mr. Moore is a board certified health law attorney and leader of Williams Parker’s healthcare practice. He specializes in representing physicians; medical groups; ambulatory surgical centers; senior living facilities, including assisted living and skilled nursing facilities; home health agencies; and healthcare infrastructure companies. John has a large practice among hospital-based physicians, including emergency, anesthesia, and pathology practices.

Dr. Brownlee a health law attorney focused on assisting healthcare providers with their operational and regulatory matters. In particular, he has extensive experience working with physicians, physician groups, senior living facilities, home health agencies, and related healthcare employees throughout Florida. Dr. Brownlee’s background practicing medicine and medical management consulting provides him a deep understanding of the industry and his clients’ needs. He regularly assists clients with professional licensing, compliance planning, acquisition and development of facilities, Medicare/Medicaid issues and appeals, DEA issues, provider contracting, and administrative law.
