KIMBRELL FOCUSES HER PRACTICE ON LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW
Kimbrell supports the firm in its representation of employers regarding a wide range of matters, such as employment policies, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour. She has experience researching and assisting with civil litigation matters in arbitrations, state court, and federal court and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP.)
Kimbrell has a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and previously worked as a human resources professional. Her experience in HR—in which she investigated reports of harassment, discrimination, and misconduct, and also provided guidance regarding compensation and benefits, company policies, and FMLA—provides a unique perspective which adds value to our labor and employment team.
During law school, Kimbrell served as an intern for the Honorable Christopher Sabella of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court and as a research assistant for UF Law Professor Merritt McAlister, whose scholarship focuses on judicial candor, transparency, and access to justice in the United States federal court system.
Kimbrell is an active equestrian who plays polo and competes in AQHA all-around events. Kimbrell’s extensive experience in the equestrian industry allows her to help clients with equine-related legal issues including contracts, waivers, and purchase, breeding, and lease agreements.
