Dirk has over 25 years of complex litigation experience with various subspecialties representing clients in the U.S. and London. His bar admissions include Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. As an accomplished first chair trial lawyer, Dirk focuses his practice on business litigation, real estate litigation, and other varied matters.
Prior to joining Williams Parker, Dirk advised clients in complex coverage disputes and the defense of third-party claims involving specialty and significant exposure liability matters. He has considerable experience litigating matters involving professional, employment, premises, fraternity/sorority, liquor, and product liability, as well as construction defect, environmental, and bad faith claims under primary, excess, specialty, and other coverages.
Dirk has handled high-exposure, complex civil and precedent setting cases involving large-value claims and novel legal theories on a national level for clients throughout the U.S. and London. He is internationally recognized for his representation of national/international organizations and educational institutions on high-exposure liability and employment matters, as well as significant risk/crisis management issues. With his deep understanding of the challenges facing these businesses, Dirk has frequently collaborated with general counsel and executive leadership to formulate and implement prudent risk/crisis management policies and procedures.
