December 6, 2018

Williams Parker recently published its tenth edition of Requisite, a firm publication offering insight on legal and philanthropic topics. The latest edition focuses on issues related to the operation, management, and sustainability of nonprofit organizations. It features an interview with A.G. Lafley, former chairman of the board and president/CEO of Procter & Gamble, in which he shares thoughts on leadership, strategy, branding, corporate philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector. Requisite X includes articles which address joining a nonprofit board, how recent tax legislation may impact charitable giving, the use and proper classification of volunteers, employee performance management, the role of audit committees, and Florida’s Government in the Sunshine Law.

“The nonprofit community in our region is thriving. From arts and culture to the environment, education, healthcare, animals, and human services, there is a wealth of worthy causes to support,” said Ric Gregoria, president of Williams Parker. “Whether participating as a donor, board member, advisor, administrator, volunteer, or recipient of the generosity and services provided by our area’s many nonprofits, your role is important, and we hope you find this edition of Requisite helpful.”
