Williams Parker Attorney Bonnie Lee Polk Honored with Judge John M. Scheb Professionalism Award

Williams Parker is pleased to announce Bonnie Lee Polk, a litigation attorney with the firm, has been honored by The Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court with its Judge John M. Scheb Professionalism Award. The award recognizes a lawyer annually from Sarasota County who exemplifies professionalism in his or her practice and contributes their time and talents to the overall cause of professionalism within Sarasota’s legal community. The award is named after the organization’s founder, Judge John M. Scheb, in recognition of his professionalism during his career as a lawyer and appellate judge. Nominations are sought from community members and nominees can be Inn members or non-members. The Nomination Committee reviews nominations and submits them to the Executive Committee of the Inn for selection by secret ballot by the Masters of the Inn.

The Inn works to promote excellence in legal advocacy, foster greater understanding of the system of American law, provide significant educational experiences that improve and enhance the skills of lawyers and judges, help the development of law students, promote collegiality, and carry ethical values from one generation to another.

Ms. Polk works with clients involved in probate and trust disputes, representing trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, and interested third parties in trust proceedings, will contests, and other fiduciary litigation. Ms. Polk also represents clients involved in corporate and real estate disputes.
