Williams Parker Continues its Growth with Two New Attorneys

Williams Parker, Sarasota’s largest law firm, is adding two accomplished attorneys to its growing roster. Trevor Johnson began to work with the firm in May, and Lorenzo Fernandez joined the firm in early July.

Trevor Johnson has practiced in the trusts and estates, tax, and corporate fields since 2018. He is focused primarily on advising owners of closely held businesses on estate and business succession planning, as well as individual and business tax matters. He also has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and transactional matters. Prior to joining Williams Parker, Johnson practiced law at an Am Law 200 law firm.

Johnson holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a JD from Albany Law School. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University’s School of Law. Before practicing law, Johnson was a financial advisor for two years and served the country for five years in the Marine Corps.

Lorenzo Fernandez comes to Williams Parker via an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and a JD from Vanderbilt Law School. He also earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law. Fernandez will practice in the Trusts and Estates Group at Williams Parker.

While at UCF, Fernandez was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, and worked in the intramural sports department as an official and lead supervisor. At Vanderbilt University Law School, Fernandez was a Dean’s Scholar, participated in Moot Court, and was President of La Alianza. During his 1L year, Lorenzo was fortunate to work remotely with the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida during the summer, and as a research assistant for Professor Nancy King and Professor Jeffrey Schoenblum.
