Williams Parker Expands Litigation Practice

Williams Parker is pleased to announce that George Parpas has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation practice. Mr. Parpas is a civil trial attorney with a focus on probate and trust litigation and business litigation. He has extensive civil litigation experience at both the trial and appellate level. He joins the firm from New York City where he handled a variety of general liability defense claims, including labor law claims, property damage and property disputes, and premises liability defense.

Mr. Parpas is a graduate of New York Law School and Queens College, City University of New York. He is admitted to practice in Florida, New Jersey, and New York and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star.

The firm also recently added Tamara Skonie, ACP, FRP as a litigation paralegal. Ms. Skonie is a NALA Advanced Certified Paralegal in Land Use and a Florida Registered Paralegal with three decades of experience. She serves on the board of the Florida Alliance of Paralegal Associations and is a member of the Southwest Florida Paralegal Association, the Florida Association of Legal Support Specialist, and the Sarasota-Manatee chapter of the Association of Legal Support Specialists. Ms. Skonie is a graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill and holds a Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
