CLAUDIA PRACTICES CORPORATE, HEALTHCARE, AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW

Claudia devotes her practice to copyright, trademark, and corporate matters, with a focus on the healthcare industry. She regularly drafts copyright and trademark applications, as well as responses to USPTO office actions, to secure intellectual property rights for companies and individuals.  She cost-effectively builds and protects trademark portfolios, both domestically and internationally, by collaborating closely with her clients. In addition to assisting clients with copyright and trademark management, Claudia is well-suited for handling trademark and copyright infringement lawsuits, having years of litigation experience.

Claudia also practices corporate law. She assists with corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, and provides guidance regarding business formation and contracts. While Claudia represents clients in a wide range of industries, she is particularly experienced with clients in the healthcare industry. Claudia’s industry-specific work includes navigating corporate practice of medicine issues and managing healthcare due diligence investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Claudia practiced in the Orlando office of a Global 100 law firm. Claudia earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law.  During law school, Claudia was a research assistant for Professor Nat S. Stern, staff editor for the Florida State Law Review and articles and notes editor for the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law.  In her undergraduate years, she attended the University of Central Florida as a Bright Futures Scholar, receiving a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Journalism, and Minor in Creative Writing.
